Hi, I’m Steven Crissien, and I’d like to share a bit of my story with you.
I grew up in Paterson, New Jersey to a working-class family, who immigrated to America from Colombia back in the early 1970's. I was taught to focus on my education, get good grades, and pursue the traditional path of college into a corporate job.
In fact, I landed a job at Sony Music at 21 years old, while I was in the middle of my college graduation. I was literally getting directed to my spot in line for the graduation walking march when I got the call. That day I became the family “success” story.
A diploma, a stable career, owning a house became my view of success.
